Other Ways to Donate

The Agape House accepts donations in many forms. All items for sale in the resale shop have been donated.

We accept donations of clothing, furniture, household items, baby supplies, or just about anything else you can think of that are clean and in good repair and can be sold. We rely on the community’s generosity for these donations that are then turned into emergency relief for our neighbors in need. Every penny you spend stays right here in our community.

The Dock opens and closes one hour before the Thrift Store in order to allow our staff and volunteers time to process your donations. If the big RED gates on the Dock are open, that indicates that we are currently accepting donations. If they are closed, please do NOT leave anything. The sad reality is that many of those items will be stolen even though we have security cameras in place. Receipts are available for tax purposes, you just have to ask.

We cannot accept used mattresses, old box style television sets, large entertainment centers, badly worn upholstered furniture, large appliances, construction waste, trash, firearms or any item containing hazardous material.

Items we cannot accept, we end up having to pay to have them hauled off. Please DO NOT leave them on our Dock OR in our dumpsters!
